On June 18th, 2015, from 9am-12 pm, Quinte West is hosting Canadian and U.S patent agent, Dr. Carol Miernicki to give a workshop on patents.

In today’s economy, it is increasingly common that the most valuable asset belonging to a business is its intellectual property. Sometimes, intellectual property is the only thing protecting a company from its competitors! You will learn the process and requirements for obtaining valid and enforceable patents, and be given practical advice on how to manage this intensive (and expensive) process.
