Pre-owned clothing business establishes digital footprint with assistance from Digital Main Street grant and Future Proof program.
For Kathleen Bradshaw, owner of Kathleen’s Wears in Cobourg, Ontario, creating a safe, comfortable store where plus size women could find dresses, tops, jeansand more, that made them look and feel fantastic was a dream come true.
Faced with COVID-19 restrictions, however, it was time to take the business online so customers could continue to have a place to go to meet their particular clothing needs. With a grant from FedDev Ontario’s Digital MainStreet (DMS) initiative and the support of a student-led transformation team managed by Launch Lab through the DMS Future Proof program, Kathleen’s Wears launched a comprehensive transformation plan so the business could thrive in a digital era.
