Video Storytelling

Learn the art of video storytelling in a hands-on workshop. Create compelling content and unleash your creativity using your own device.

This hands-on workshop is designed to help small business owners and entrepreneurs learn the art of video storytelling. In this interactive and engaging workshop, participants will learn the techniques and tools needed to create compelling video content that will resonate with their audiences.

The workshop will cover the basics of storytelling, including:

  • the importance of identifying your target audience
  • creating a compelling narrative
  • and using visual storytelling techniques to capture your audience’s attention.

Participants will also learn about the different types of video content and how to select the right format for their message.

During the workshop, participants will unleash their creativity by creating their own videos using their mobile app or laptop and choose between popular social media platforms like Instagram or Canva to showcase their unique stories. Following the workshop participants can tour of the Valley Heartland Digital Media Lab featuring state-of-the-art equipment, including cameras, microphones, and editing software.

Light refreshments and coffee provided.
