SR&ED Workshop
February 23 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program Information Session
Join Queen’s Startup Runway and Accolade Consulting Group Inc. for an information session that can help all sizes of Canadian businesses- from startup to large corporation.
The Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) is a Federal program (with additional help from Ontario) that uses tax incentives to encourage Canadian businesses of all sizes and in all sectors to conduct research and development in Canada. SR&ED distributes approximately $3B in tax credits each year, to 21,000 claimants of all sizes and in all sectors.
The SR&ED program is Canada’s largest single source of federal government support for industrial research and development, distributing approximately $3B in tax credits each year to 21,000 claimants of all sizes. Claimants can apply every fiscal year for SR&ED investment tax credits on expenditures such as wages, materials, some overhead, and Canadian SR&ED contracts, and can expect to receive 18 – 42% of their total SR&ED expenditures back in the form of either tax credits or refundable tax credits (i.e. cash). The Accolade Consulting Group Inc. (ACGI) takes almost all of the regular reporting and claim preparation away from you, allowing you to focus on running your business! Established in 2003, our firm has secured over $45M in approved ITCs for approximately 150 clients, with zero claims refused to date!
Note: Registrants will be sent the Zoom link for the event 24 hours prior to the session.
