Antifragility and Entrepreneurship
April 8 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am
We talk a lot about how increasing your resilience can make you a better entrepreneur. Join Carissa for a chat about how to build on resilience in the pursuit of becoming antifragile.
This talk is based on the concept of Antifragility, made famous by Nassim Nicholas Taleb and defined below.
“Some things benefit from shocks; they thrive and grow when exposed to volatility, randomness, disorder, and stressors and love adventure , risk, and uncertainty. Yet, in spite of [this], there is no word for the exact opposite of fragile. Let us call it antifragile. Antifragility is beyond resilience or robustness. The resilient resists shocks and stays the same; the antifragile gets better.” Nassim Nicholas Taleb – Antifragile.
