Marketing Specialist / Coordinator – DLG Program: Kingston, Ontario | Remote
Location: We are looking for candidates preferably in SouthEastern Ontario, Canada. Kingston-based candidates have the option to work from our office space.*

About the Role
Launch Lab is looking for a motivated, organized, and creative Marketing Specialist / Coordinator to join our Digital Lead Generator (DLG) team. This role supports the planning, execution, and reporting of digital marketing initiatives for small businesses across Eastern Ontario.
You’ll collaborate with our Social Media Manager and broader marketing team to create and coordinate engaging campaigns across social media, email, and digital advertising channels. The ideal candidate is both detail-oriented and creative—comfortable writing, designing, and organizing projects to ensure campaigns run smoothly and on schedule. Key Responsibilities
Social Media Coordination & Content Creation
In collaboration with the Social Media Manager, Support the planning, creation, and scheduling of social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.).
Maintain content calendars, organize assets, and coordinate approval workflows.
Create visuals and short-form videos using tools such as Canva, Adobe, and CapCut.
Capture photo and video content when applicable and ensure posts align with client marketing goals.
Email Marketing Support
Build and maintain segmented email lists using platforms like Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, or Flodesk.
Assist with writing, designing, and scheduling newsletters, announcements, and automated email flows (welcome, nurture, re-engagement).
Track campaign performance metrics and compile reports for internal and client review.
Digital Advertising Assistance
Support the setup and monitoring of digital ad campaigns on Google and social media platforms.
Create ad copy and visuals under the guidance of the DLG team.
Help track performance results and compile key insights for optimization.
Campaign Reporting & Administration
Collect and organize campaign performance data from multiple platforms.
Prepare reports and dashboards summarizing engagement, reach, and conversion metrics.
Maintain organized project files, task lists, and campaign timelines to ensure smooth execution.
Client Coordination
Support client meetings by preparing agendas, notes, and updates.
Communicate project timelines, deliverables, and results in a clear and professional manner.
Build strong working relationships with clients through proactive communication and reliability.
Skills & Experience
2–3 years of experience in marketing coordination or digital marketing support.
A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Proficiency with design and content tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar).
Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (Meta Business Suite, Later, Buffer, etc.).
Experience using email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar).
Basic understanding of SEO principles and digital ad platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads).
Excellent time management and organizational skills; able to handle multiple client accounts at once.
Strong writing, communication, and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment
