Call For Applications For Pilot Pre-Acceleration Program DiscoverXL

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: March 17, 2016, Kingston ON – Are you a new startup working to better define your offering to customers? Queen’s University, in partnership with PARTEQ Innovations and Launch Lab, announced today that they are accepting applications to a pilot “pre-acceleration” program: DiscoverXL provides founders of early-stage startups with a practical approach to help validate their business concept. This short program, consisting of two workshops and guidance from experienced mentors, helps entrepreneurs focus their time and resources on developing products that customers actually want.

Application deadline is April 7, 2016.

Eligible companies will be selected to participate based on written submissions. The program is being offered at Innovation Park in Kingston (945 Princess Street) on April 26th and May 31st, 2016.

DiscoverXL is a new feature in the InnovationXL suite of programs and services, offered by Queen’s, PARTEQ and Launch Lab and designed to accelerate the growth and retention of high potential technology-based startups and small and medium-sized enterprises in Eastern Ontario. Supported by the National Research Council-Industrial Research Assistance Program (NRC-IRAP), InnovationXL forms part of a broader collaboration with Invest Ottawa and L-SPARK, a B2B SaaS incubator and accelerator, to strengthen the regional innovation ecosystem in Eastern Ontario.
