B.R.A.K.E.R.S. Early Warning System Pilot Launch

GrindSpace participant, Timothy Newman, CEO of B.R.A.K.E.R.S. Early Warning Systems was featured in the Inside Belleville Newspaper. Newman’s software helps keep emergency workers safe.

This program enables emergency vehicles to broadcast a warning message to drivers in the proximity of the oncoming vehicle, upon turning their lights and sirens on. This enables drivers to safely pull aside out of the vehicles way, ensuring the responder’s and their own safety.

City of Belleville officials, including firefighters and police, announced in Market Square that Belleville will be participating in a pilot project to launch this system. Belleville emergency workers now have the program installed in their vehicles.

The next step is for residents of the city to help test out the software by downloading the free app for android and iPhone.
The more downloads there are, the more effectively B.R.A.K.E.R.S can collect data from the pilot project.
